Toronto Home Furniture Rental: Fit For Any Occasion

Wednesday, December 15th, 2010

Toronto home furniture rental services are an excellent route to take when furnishing your new living space for a number of reasons.  It’s not just for using as a temporary solution before your furniture arrives from your previous residence, or before you can buy your own furnishings, though those are certainly two reasons to do so.  As we mentioned in a blog post a couple of weeks ago, Toronto home furniture rental is a perfect solution for keeping on top of the latest trends and fashions in the furniture world.  Instead of buying contemporary furniture that starts to look worn and dated as the years go buy, renting furniture affords the purchaser the ability to keep her home’s interior looking cutting-edge and new at all times.

There are other reasons to opt for Toronto home furniture rental, including some that might surprise you.  Consider, for example, the college freshman.  She or he is away from home for the first time and is looking for utility above all else.  Fashion, while a plus, is not the guiding principle.  That’s why innovative—if not exactly eye-popping—furniture solutions such as the bedroom in a box are marketed.  Once the student graduates and gets a job that allows them to eat, the hastily purchased furniture they acquired goes in the proverbial dustbin of history.

We now pose a question: Why not circumvent this whole wasteful and unattractive solution with Toronto home furniture rental services?  By renting Toronto home furniture, the student will be able to spend less money for nicer furniture, impressing her peers and maybe—just maybe—herself, for making such a shrewd decision, as well.  Furthermore, when she graduates, she can return the furniture and move wherever she wishes, unencumbered by unattractive, utilitarian furnishings.  It’s a win-win!

The next time you’re on the market for Toronto home furniture, consider Executive Furniture Rentals.  Though we have an impressive variety of such products, that’s not all we offer.  We also possess a wide of office furniture in Toronto.  Contact us to learn more.

Office Furniture Toronto: Own Famous Furniture!

Friday, November 19th, 2010

This weekend is an event to remember for office furniture in Toronto!  On November 20-21 we at Executive Furniture Rentals are holding our renowned Executive Furniture Warehouse Annual Clearance Sale.  It’s located at 900 Caledonia Rd, and runs from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Toronto Sun ran a furniture rental article about our sale and titled it “Buy a Chair a Celebrity Sat In.”  It’s true!  Since our Annual Clearance Sale features pieces of furniture used on movie sets, in home staging, and on movie sets, there’s a chance (however slim) that a piece you buy has been sat in or otherwise used by a notable figure!  Now’s your chance to buy memorabilia.

Of course, another reason to buy furniture from our Annual Clearance Sale is to take advantage of excellent deals on barely-used furniture.  Call us boring, but we think that the most exciting part about the chairs  used in the G20 summit that we’re selling for $99 is, well, that we’re selling them for $99.  And that’s just indicative of the sort of deals you’ll be able to find there.  Trust us when we say it’s worth your while to stop by, especially if you’re looking for home or office furniture.

Good enough for state dignitaries, good enough for us: That’s the Executive Furniture Rentals motto!  Well, not really, but it’s certainly a sentiment we can get behind.

As the leader of office furniture in Toronto, we’re proud of our selection, much of which will be on display this weekend.  If you’re looking for something other than office furniture in Toronto, check out our other services, all of which are tailored to making relocation simpler and easier.  In addition to office furniture in Toronto, our suite of services include home furniture rental, custom corporate housing, home staging in Toronto, and special events furnishings.  We’re also proud members of CORT Furniture’s global network, which has your furniture rental needs covered from Andorra to Venezuela.

Corporate Housing A La Carte!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

corporate housing torontoIn today’s fast-paced environment we are accustomed to multiple options so we choose what we need, when we need it. Our Custom Corporate Housing Programme (CCHP) is a flexible effective solution to corporate housing for stays of 12 months or more. Budget is everything and CCHP helps you save money and stay within your budget.

CCHP is simple. It is a menu of choices specifically designed for budgets that are less than what the major corporate housing providers can offer, yet you have the freedom to choose what is essential and what is not.

For example, you may be able to find an unfurnished condo or home, then call us to provide home furniture, bedding, kitchenware, or even require us to arrange high speed Internet, phone, cable and housekeeping. Combine the two bills and you may end up with a 20% – 30% savings compared with a similar furnished suite/home in the same building or neighborhood. Just want to rent furniture, only? The savings is even greater. Do you want us to property manage the suite, to create one bill? We can do that.

Discover how Executive’s CCHP can trim your temporary relocation budget. Call me personally to chat about the possibilities.

Have Your Walls and Move Them Too

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Yes, there is a better solution than drywall.

Moveable walls prove to be economical, flexible, quicker to install, eco-friendly, making building permits for walls obsolete and at the same time may contribute LEED points to your project certification.

Furthermore, the acoustic rating allows isolation of private work spaces. The best part is, if your company decides to relocate or re-configure….no problem, just re-install your walls!

But what is the cost?

Moveable walls come at a similar cost to dry wall construction. However, there is less mess. Most importantly, it can become either an asset by purchasing, 100% tax deductible by leasing, or provide immense flexibility by renting.

Allow my team to further explain the benefits of moveable walls, either to buy, lease or rent. Don’t let interior walls become your problem, let it become your advantage!

Aeron Chairs in Toronto

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

aeron chairs torontoThe Aeron chair is a Herman Miller product, designed in 1994 by Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf. It soon became a symbol of the dot-com bubble in the late 1990′s.

The chair was intentionally ergonomically designed to be very comfortable due to it’s range of fittings and adjustability. What makes it unique is the back seat which is made of stretched, semi transparent and flexible mesh called Pellicle.

Other manufacturers have followed with lighter and environmentally friendlier chairs such as Steelcase’s Think and Knoll’s Chadwick, but Aeron has maintained its icon status over time.

You’ll see the chair in Trump’s Apprentice board room, Elle Magazine’s meeting room (did you see the last episode of “The City”?) and dozens of other movies and commercials which fuels Aeron’s super status. In fact, we just rented 10 to an upcoming movie presently being shot in Toronto ( sorry, we are not allowed to reveal details)!

While Aeron may be North America’s most popular chair, it may not be the best chair for everyday office use. We have a variety of other office furniture in Toronto that can suit the needs of any office on any budget. I hope you will join me in the upcoming posts as I examine some alternative seating that may just be healthier for our bodies. Stay tuned!

Office Systems Furniture For Call Centers

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

When renting office furniture, there are numerous variables to consider.  The size of your organization is one, as is the corresponding office space available.  Those with a lot of room to spread out, for example, will have a wider variety of options available to choose from, whereas those in more cramped quarters might lack that luxury.  Another factor to weigh is the nature of the work an office carries out.  The expectations of clients visiting a lawyer’s office and clients emailing a web developer’s firm will differ dramatically: in the latter instance, for example, the customer might never even step foot into the office.

It is with these considerations in mind that we turn to the idea of furnishing a call center.  Despite the common association many have of call centers consisting of a staff that’s outsourced overseas, there are plenty of call centers right here in Toronto.  Many of them specialize in B2B sales, lead generation, and telemarketing.  It’s not in their primary interest to furnish their offices with fine, executive-style office desks—not because they’re cheap, but because it’s a waste of space!  Who needs a gigantic, imposing cherry-wood desk with banks upon banks of drawers when all you’re doing is operating a computer and a telephone?  Why have a space to stash all your folders when the only folders you’re dealing with are on your computer’s desktop?

That’s where our line of office furniture systems comes in.  Designed to maximize space efficiency without sacrificing comfort or privacy, our office systems are perfect for call centers of all sizes.  Our systems, known for their modularity, are great for any budget, and are also a breeze to expand and rearrange, which is great for those in the process of adding new employees, or for those who might be planning a move to another location.

So if you’re looking for office furniture systems in Toronto, you know where to look.  Executive Furniture Rentals has you covered.

Be Kind to an Intern

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

This is the season to start thinking about summer…interns (and you thought I  was going to say “golf”).

Most companies, public and charitable organizations, enjoy the new talents of summer students.   Internship programmes are critical for businesses, for it is through these programmes that students experience the workplaces of their futures.   Most importantly, a good fit is determined between the employer and employee, which is an excellent way to ensure the best and the brightest come to work on your team.

So how do you welcome these budding young stars of tomorrow?

Gone are the days when employers would give the intern an old chair on four casters and a folding table in the corner.  We need to show a respectful workplace environment to the next generation in hopes of luring them in the future.

Renting office furniture allows interns to have the most contemporary ergonomically designed furniture at a fraction of the cost of buying new. When the internship is completed, the furniture is simply picked up.

Rental furniture is a key way you can make the most of your summer internship opportunities by providing a good working environment today, which is a sign of your commitment to the employees of tomorrow.

Let Executive Furniture Rentals help plan your internship workplace. Let’s talk about the future!
